NOMOS-BANK solidifies positioning in the rating of TOP-50 Russian banks

NOMOS-BANK was recognized as number 17 in terms of Tier-1 capital in the rating of TOP-50 Russian banks published in the October issue of The Banker. During 2007, the Bank increased this indicator by 54.1% — to USD 96 million. NOMOS-BANK was placed 18th in the 2007 rating.

A significant increase in the Bank’s assets, which grew by more than 80% in 2007, propelled the Bank 4 points up in the rating — from 18th to 14th place.

Besides, the rating proofs that NOMOS-BANK has the lowest ratio of overdue debt among TOP-25 banks that provided such data. NOMOS-BANK’s overdue loans ratio of only 0.15% is five times lower than the ratio of the closest competitor.

NOMOS-BANK has been rated by The Banker since 2002 ãîäà, when it was first included in TOP-1000 banks in terms of Tier 1 capital. Based on 2007 year-end figures, NOMOS-BANK was a TOP-465 credit institution in the world, and a TOP-60 most rapidly growing banks among the rating’s participants.

NOMOS-BANK was also recognized as TOP-14 in terms of Tier 1 capital and TOP-13 in terms of assets among Russian banks. NOMOS-BANK was placed number 17 among the largest banks in Central and Eastern Europe.
