NOMOS-BANK obtains authorisation of the Central Bank to act as guarantor of Central Bank loans

The Bank of Russia has included NOMOS-BANK in the list of credit institutions, which can issue guarantees that will be accepted as a collateral with respect to the loans extended by the Central Bank.

A bank must have an international rating of the required level in order to be considered for the inclusion in the list. In total, 50 credit institutions have joined this group of reliable banks that will act as guarantors with respect to Central Bank’s loans.

Ratings assigned by international agencies confirm NOMOS-BANK’s reliability and stability. Fitch has аssigned the Bank its long-term credit rating at В+, and the national long-term rating — at А(rus). The agency constantly notes NOMOS-BANK’s good capitalization and high efficiency. Moody’s agency has assigned NOMOS-BANK its financial stability rating (FSR) at D− level, and its international long-term rating at Ba3 level.

NOMOS-BANK is also on the list of 28 credit institutions that have qualified for participating in the auctions held by the Ministry of Finance for the placement of uncommitted funds on commercial banks’ deposits Additionally, NOMOS-BANK partakes in similar auctions held by the State Corporation GK “Fund for Promoting Reforms in the Housing and Communal Utilities Sector”.
