NOMOS-BANK issues a RUR 200 mln loan to NPO “ELSIB”
NOMOS-BANK has opened a revolving credit line for 200 million Roubles to Research and Manufacturing Enterprise NPO “ELSIB” research and production company, which is the biggest electric machinery manufacturer in Siberia and the Far East. The purpose of funding is to replenish working capital. The credit line is provided for two years.
“Manufacturing enterprises account for approximately 23% of our credit portfolio, which is a proof that we continue to actively finance the real sector, — notes Tamara Barashkina, head of NOMOS-BANK’s branch in Novosibirsk. — Servicing clients that have strategic importance for the domestic economy is our priority. ‘Elsib’ is on the government list of Russian enterprises of systemic importance, therefore, we are particularly interested in developing relationship with that company”.
In addition to the credit programme, the Bank provides banking support to NPO “Elsib” in other areas, including a payroll project, cashier services, provision of products and services to service the company’s foreign transactions.

Open Joint-Stock Company — Research and Manufacturing Enterprise NPO “ELSIB” OAO is a unique energy machine building enterprise in Siberia and the Far East that designs and manufactures generators for high power steam, natural gas, and hydraulic turbines, as well as powerful asynchronous high-voltage electric engines. The company’s products are used in many sectors of the economy, including such strategic areas as energy, coal mining, and oil production.
Over its 55 year history, the company has manufactured over 800 turbogenerating sets, produced 156 and modernised 43 hydrogenerators, shipped over 60 thousand high-voltage electric engines. Presently, the generators manufactured by NPO “ELSIB” account for circa 33% of the total generated capacity of Russia’s heat and power stations and for 30% of the set capacity of Russian hydroelectric power stations (water-power plants).
