NOMOS-BANK strengthens its investment block
Three new appointments took place in NOMOS-BANKs investment block with the aim of enhancing three key investment business directions Forex transactions, money market transactions, and transactions with fixed-interest instruments.
These appointments fit logically into NOMOS-BANKs investment block development strategy, which provides for expanding client business in finance markets and increasing the share of fee, commission and arbitrage income, explained Roman Pivkov, Vice President of NOMOS-BANK.
NOMOS-BANK is a key player in such areas as spot market transactions, trading in Rouble-denominated bonds, and REPO transactions segment. The Banks objective is to maintain those positions and to build on them by advancing sales of currency risks hedging instruments (currency forwards, swaps, and derivatives) and increasing the volume of trading in Rouble-denominated bonds and Eurobonds segment.
Artem Gavrilov has become head of Forex transactions unit of the Bank.
Artem Gavrilov graduated from the Academy of Labour in 2003, where he studied banking business at the Finance Department.
Nikita Chudnov became leading specialist in Forex transactions unit.
He has been working in the banking sphere since 2007, when he joined the planning and budget department of Investment Bank Trust.
In 2007, Nikita Chudnov graduated from the Department of the National Economy at the Academy of the Peoples Economy of the Government of the Russian Federation (his major was Applied Informatics in the Economy). Since 2008, he has been attending a master programme at the Economic Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MGU) with a major in Financial Markets.
Alexey Baranchikov became portfolio manager responsible for transactions fixed-income instruments.
He has been working in the banking sphere since 2006, previously held the position of assistant professor at Southeast Missouri State University. In 2006, he joined Zenit bank as Rouble bonds sales specialist. In 2007, he became trader in the Debt Instruments Sales Department at ZAO Standard Bank.
Alexey Baranchikov graduated from the Engineering Business and Management Department of Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MGTU) in 2004. He graduated from Southeast State University in 2006.
