Lobston Enterprises Limited increases its stake in NOMOS-BANK to 19.98%

19.05.2008

Lobston Enterprises Limited, current NOMOS-BANK’s shareholder run by influential Slovak businessman Roman Korbacka, has increased its stake in NOMOS-BANK from 11.15 to 19.98%. The Russian shareholders retained the controlling interest in NOMOS-BANK (50% plus 1 share), and PPF Group, as a financial investor, retained 29.9% of the Bank’s shares.

Lobston Enterprises Limited has increased its stake following the sale of the Bank’s shares by two companies owned by Russian shareholders who had previously announced their intention to reduce their portfolios and extended buy-out offers to the Bank’s other existing shareholders. Thus, Arrowzone Limited, owned by Russian shareholders of the Bank, decreased its stake from 16.52 to 11.47%, and Dalemead Limited ceased to be the Bank’s shareholder having sold its entire stake in the Bank — 3.78%.

Lobston Enterprises Limited made its decision to make this promising financial investment based, primarily, on the excellent financial results achieved by the Bank in 2007, as well as the Bank’s future growth potential.

NOMOS-BANK’s President Dmitriy Sokolov has given a positive assessment of the increasing engagement of Lobston Enterprises Limited: “We are convinced, — he stressed, — that the circle of shareholders that has formed in the Bank, including its Russian shareholders, PPF Group and the Slovak partner, will allow the Bank to realize an ambitious development strategy within the next several years”. According to him, "the current structure of the Bank’s shareholding will remain unaffected following the forthcoming additional issue of shares, which will be bought out proportionately — Russian shareholders will retain 50% plus 1 share, RFC, representing PPF Group, — 29.9%, and Lobston Enterprises Limited — 19.9%.
