NOMOS-BANK to open branch in Ufa
NOMOS-BANK will open a branch in Ufa pursuant to a decision taken by the Banks Supervisory Board.
This decision goes in line with the strategy of NOMOS-BANKs development as a universal network credit and finance institution focusing on the provision of differentiated services to corporate business in parallel with promoting retail services and products.
Under this strategy, the Bank plans to significantly expand its regional network this year. NOMOS-BANKs branch network currently comprises 18 branches and 25 supplementary offices. In particular, 20 branches will be opened in such cities as Arkhangelsk, Barnaul, Vologda, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Kemerovo, Kirov, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Ulyanovsk, Murmansk, Orenburg, Penza, Ryazan, Tver, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ufa, Vladivostok. The Bank plans to set up 6 operational offices in Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk, Cheboksary, Tikhvin and Stariy Oskol, as well as 20 supplementary offices in Bratsk, Angarsk, Rybinsk, Volzhsk, Sochi, Syzran, Cherepovets, Magnitogorsk, Nizhny Tagil, Biysk, Novokuznetsk, Mytischi, Chimki, Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Noginsk, Kolomna, Sergiyev Posad, and Klin.
In choosing the region for opening a new Banks branch, we take into consideration its economic potential, as well as current and future demand for banking products, said NOMOS-BANKs President Dmitry Sokolov. The establishing of a new branch in Ufa will allow NOMOS-BANK to make another step toward closer relations with
mid-size corporate business, which has always been our priority client group, as well as with small business and individual customers whose share in our loan portfolio is constantly on the rise.
NOMOS-BANKs branch in Ufa will offer a full range of services: products for corporate and retail customers, investment services and private banking.
The Bank provides a broad spectrum of credit products for corporate clients and specialized small business lending programmes, leasing and factoring services. NOMOS-BANK also holds strong positions in project finance and arrangement of funding from international capital markets, as well as organization of merger and acquisitions deals. The active development of the economy in the region is conducive to high demand for retail banking products: mortgages, bankcards, and deposits representing the Banks new deposit line introduced in May 2008.
Our experience demonstrates that the possibility of operational interaction between the credit institution and the client allows the latter to more efficiently solve the tasks that he is facing, and becomes an important competitive advantage for him, noted Dmitriy Sokolov.
