NOMOS-BANK holds an annual General Meeting of Shareholders

An annual General Meeting of Shareholders of NOMOS-BANK took place on 27 June. Its participants decided that the Bank should retain the larger part of its 2007 profit — 4.64 milliard Roubles (the total profit according to RAS being 4.7 milliard Roubles). Dividends on preference shares for the year 2007 amounted to 60.5 mln Roubles, the dividend’s amount per one share was 5 Roubles. No dividends were set or paid on common stock.

The shareholders also took a decision to set the overall limit of 250 million Roubles out of the current year’s profit to be spent on charity, sponsorship, and other non-commercial projects.

The General Meeting approved the Bank’s Annual Report for the year 2007, balance sheet, and profit and loss account. “Deloitte and Touche CIS” was again appointed as the Bank’s external auditor.

AGM also elected the Supervisory Board comprising 7 members. A new member, Petr Milev, representing the interests of the Bank’s existing shareholder — the Czech PPF Group, joined 6 other members who served on the previous Board: A.A.Gudaytis, N.I.Dobrinov, A.Ye.Natalenko, Yu.S.Pilipenko, D.V.Sokolov and I.A.Yuzhanov. Petr Milev’s candidacy was proposed by the Bank’s Supervisory Board.

Petr Milev was born in 1968.

Education

Graduated from the Department of Mathematics and Physics of the Karlov University in Prague in 1992 with a degree in “Optoelectronics and Quantum Electrodynamics”.
