The net profit of Russia’s NOMOS-BANK fell 26% on the year to 3.286 billion rubles in January-September, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the bank’s press office said Friday.

The bank’s net profit plummeted 87.2% on the year to 239 million rubles in July-September due to an increase in risk provisions caused by a rise in the bank’s loan portfolio and a revaluation of its securities portfolio.

In January-June, the bank’s net profit amounted to 3.047 billion rubles, the bank said earlier.

NOMOS-BANK, established in 1993, is currently one of the largest Russian private banks providing a full range of financial services. The bank is involved in corporate, investment, and private banking, as well as retail services.
