NOMOS-BANK’s net profit in November exceeds 1 milliard Roubles

NOMOS-BANK’ s net profit according to the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) was 1.05 milliard Roubles as of the end of November. The Bank’s balance sheet profit rose during the month by 14.2% reaching 3.7 milliard Roubles, as of 1 December. The Bank’s capital in the period from 1 November to 1 December increased by 20.7%, to 37.5 milliard Roubles.

The drivers behind own capital growth was the inclusion in the Bank’s capital of such additional sources of capital as a subordinated loan for 5 milliard Roubles obtained from the existing shareholder of the Bank-Russia Finance Corporation, as well as retained profit received during last month.

The Bank’s assets in November increased by 8.4% to 287.4 milliard Roubles.

Other NOMOS-BANK’s financials also showed upward trend. The bank’s assets during the month increased by 8.4% to 287.4 milliard Roubles. The volume of the credit portfolio rose by 2.2% — to 168.4 milliard Roubles.

Simultaneously, NOMOS-BANK increased the volume of borrowed funds by 8.9% — to 239.13 milliard Roubles. Corporate clients account for the bulk of borrowing /89%/. In autumn 2008, NOMOS-BANK offered its corporate clients a complex of products “Effective Management of Enterprise Liquidity”. Retail deposits increased by 2.9% (by volume) to 24.3 milliard Roubles, as of 1 December.
