NOMOS-Bank mandates 2 banks to organize $80 mln loan
Russias NOMOS-Bank said Tuesday it had mandated Standard Bank Plc and Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich AG to organize a U.S. $80 million one-year syndicated loan.
NOMOS-Bank said earlier this month that it planned to take out the loan in April.
The loan will be provided at an annual interest rate of 1.55% over Libor and can be prolonged for another year.
The bank plans to use the funds raised for lending to gold producers.
NOMOS-Bank, established in 1993, is one of the largest Russian private banks providing a full range of financial services. The bank is involved in corporate, investment and private banking as well as retail services.
In 2007, the net profit of NOMOS-Bank soared to 6.846 billion rubles from 2.486 billion rubles in 2006, the bank said earlier without specifying the accounting standards used.
